The Artist

W.F. Hawkinson - A native Californian started his career in animation at "Terry-Toons" in New Rochelle, New York, working on Mighty Mouse, Gandy Goose and Farmer Al Falfa. After the army, he went to work with Disney, on staff in animation. His work included Woody the Woodpecker and Felix the Cat, just to name a few. His repertoire includes: television commecials, greeting cards, album covers, art director and much more. One of his many favorites was animating Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The Author

Phyllis Ann Mariani, who is a first time author, lives in the suburbs of Philidelphia, PA. While working in her family business she still finds time to work with local charities. She is a daughter, (twice over) and has written this book to share her happiness by telling her story the way it was told to her by her parents. She has dedicated this book to all of those in the world of adoption who are making families happen.
